China New Enterprise Investment Co (the “Fund”) is a China incorporated closed-end private equity fund targeting opportunities in China. The Fund has aggregate capital commitments of US$ 113 million from Chinese and international investors.
The Fund is incorporated in China under the Chinese regulations for foreign funded private equity capital activities.
The Fund is targeting companies with exceptional growth and value potential seeking expansion or acquisition capital.
The Fund has adopted a proactive investment approach by seeking majority shareholder positions or strong minority positions with extensive shareholder rights and by adding value through assisting portfolio companies improve their management, corporate governance and operations.
Exit strategies are defined at the time of investment. Due to its onshore structure as a China registered vehicle, the Fund is able to take advantage of domestic exit routes, especially M&A, and to repatriate realized gains to overseas investors.
The Fund is closed for new investors.
